Maybe. John tries to carry as many of each product as possible but there are literally hundreds of titles for each product, some of them quite rarely asked for. Some are popular in different countries but not available here.
Substitute! There are many items that fit into the same category like luck, love, or protection and can work just as well as the one you are looking for. If someone suggested the item to you or sent you to get it, ask them if there are any substitutions they can also recommend before you show up. If you are open to it, John will be happy to make recommendations for a substitution.
Times change, the products changed, even the neighborhood changed, but that doesn't mean the name has to change. The store has been in the same family since the 1930s and is a landmark in East Austin. The Green & White planted deep roots on its little corner and it is a reminder of what used to be.
Yes, but don't ask John for one. Those services are currently available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and are provided by Chaplain and Curandero Greg Martinez. He is available from 12-5:30 PM. Walk-ins are welcomed but you can always call the store and make an appointment with John to save a spot.
