Many customers of the Green & White are well familiar with another store just down the road, City General Store, and its owner, Richard West. Founded in 1986, City General sold many of the same spiritual items as Green & White but there was never an air of competition between the two stores, instead we worked together to take care of our customers. It was not uncommon to get a call from "West" asking if we had an item in stock that his customer was looking for so he could send them our way and our customers were often directed to visit his store as well, either for an item we were out of or just for the experience.
Richard was called away on Saturday, April 26, 2025 ending an over 30 year friendship with the Green & White.
